Raw and unpretentious, Gridlock is a series of lamps in the style of the Brutalist movement. Gridlock feels industrial in its straightforward, platonic forms and the repetitive efficiency of the grid; however, it is assembled entirely by hand from thousands of tiny brass parts.

加拿大設(shè)計(jì)師Philippe Malouin在埃因霍芬設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院獲得設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位，同時他也在巴黎的
École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle 和蒙特利爾大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)過。現(xiàn)在倫敦居住和生活。從英國設(shè)計(jì)師Tom Dixon工作室辭職后，Philippe Malouin于2009年創(chuàng)立了自己的工作室。他的設(shè)計(jì)作品涵蓋桌子、地毯、椅子、燈具、藝術(shù)作品和裝置品等。他的客戶包括Marsotto Edizioni, Resident, OTHR, Hem, Ace hotel, Matter-Made, Established & Sons, Roll & Hill, 1882 ltd., Kvadrat, Umbra Shift, Caesarstone, IZÉ, Swarovski, Bloomberg, Aesop, Touch Digital等等。Philippe Malouin曾經(jīng)獲得過he W Hotels‘Designer of the Future’ 獎項(xiàng)以及the Wallpaper ‘Best Use of Material’ 獎。設(shè)計(jì)師Philippe Malouin居住和工作的倫敦，也是他開工作室的地方。
Canadian Philippe Malouin holds a bachelor’s degree in Design from the Design Academy Eindhoven. He has also studied at the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle in Paris and University of Montreal. He lives and works in London. He set up his studio in 2009 after working for English designer Tom Dixon. He is also the director of POST-OFFICE, the architectural and interiors design practice. His diverse portfolio includes tables, rugs, chairs, lights, art objects and installations. Philippe’s client list includes: Marsotto Edizioni, Resident, OTHR, Hem, Ace hotel, Matter-Made, Established & Sons, Roll & Hill, 1882 ltd., Kvadrat, Umbra Shift, Caesarstone, IZÉ, Swarovski, Bloomberg, Aesop, Touch Digital. Philippe has won the W Hotels ‘Designer of the Future’ Award and the Wallpaper ‘Best Use of Material’ Award. Philippe Lives and works in London, where he operates his design studio.
